FAQ

dress code

Welcome Party: We'll kick things off with a white party on the beach at Hotel El Ganzo. Think sundresses and linens (tan/khaki bottoms fine for men) and keep the sand in mind when selecting footwear.

Ceremony & Reception: We love to get dressed up and are inviting guests to join us in doing the same. The wedding dress code is black tie optional with a bias towards color and print - we're in Mexico!

  • For Women: Ankle or floor length dresses - print and color encouraged.
  • For Men: Traditional tuxes or suits. If you have a pop of color we welcome it but feel free to let your date be your pop of color.

We expect weather to be in the mid-seventies during our wedding weekend, but we'll be near the ocean so it never hurts to have a couple layers packed :)

Wedding Transportation

We will have shuttles picking up guests from Hotel El Ganzo at 3:15PM ahead of the ceremony and running throughout the evening should you need to leave before the last dance (please don't ;))

If you are not staying at or nearby Hotel El Ganzo and need guidance on getting to the ceremony - reach out to us! Ubers are pretty accessible in Cabo, and you can either Uber to Hotel El Ganzo and hop on the buses from there or Uber directly to Acre - just factor in some buffer time.

Wedding Arrival Time

Shuttles will pick guests up at 3:15pm from Hotel El Ganzo and guests will be greeted with a welcome cocktail at Acre at 3:30pm. The ceremony begins at 4pm and we ask that you arrive no later than 3:45pm if you are arriving separately.

Welcome Party

Everyone is invited to ring in the weekend at our welcome party on Friday! There will be an open bar and heavy passed appetizers but if you'd like to have a formal dinner on Friday, you're welcome to make a reservation at one of the hotel restaurants or head downtown to San Jose Del Cabo (about a 5 minute Uber, check out out our "Things to Do" tab for recommendations). We'd recommend a reservation no earlier than 7:30 as the welcome party ends at 7pm.

Getting To/From Airport and Around Cabo

Once you land in Cabo, it takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour to clear customs and will be a 30 minute ride to Hotel El Ganzo.

You can Uber to the airport but not from the airport so you can either arrange for a cab upon arrival or schedule one ahead of time (recommended if you're in a group). There is no shortage of services you can use for airport transportation - feel free to reach out to our vendor Cabo Seasons or browse additional options here.

Kids & Plus Ones

No one loves babies, kids (and plus ones!) more than us. However, our hope for this wedding is to get as much quality time with our people as possible. For that reason, this is a kids free wedding and plus ones are limited to those that were named on your invitations. We hope you understand!

Accommodations

We invite you to stay with us at Hotel El Ganzo, which is where we will host the welcome party on Friday and be posted poolside on Sunday. For details and to book via our wedding block and receive a discounted rate check out our Travel page.
